We brought Christmas to Battersea Power Station with Jo Malone London and Branchout Productions, bringing their Gingerbread house to life with an anamorphic/forced perspective 3D sequence featuring Jo Malone’s Gingerbread character.

Approach

We wanted to create an enchanting and captivating experience for the visitors at Battersea Power Station during Christmas. We brought Jo Malone's seasonal campaign to life through a sequence that features their Gingerbread character animated in a series of branded environments whilst highlighting the products and creating a sense of magic and illusion.

Technical

To animate the Gingerbread character, we used some of the latest motion capture technology, using AI through the MoveAI software. This revolutionary approach helped us iterate and refine the choreographed movements very quickly.

As with any of our 'forced perspective’ creations, we utilised our in-house pre-visualisation software to ensure the depth illusion worked effectively from as many areas of the location as possible, immersing viewers in the world of Jo Malone.
