Context and Brief
We were approached by the Wet Leg team with the concept of transforming the stage into a magical dystopian landscape. We were determined to design an epic set extension that could bring the whole performance to life in conjunction with the set design, choreography and costume.
We began with our dystopia in dewy daylight before transitioning into a full, vibrant UV night time aesthetic - where both visuals and the energy of the track kick into the next gear.

Technical
We created numerous assets in Cinema 4D, such as buildings, foliage and chromatic alien symbols and then began to build up the scene in After Effects. Particle systems, explosions and ripple animations all assisted in keeping the scenic set design alive along with added beat responsiveness to complement the visual edit.
