Context and Brief

A light touch was required to compliment Misty Buckley’s beautiful production design which featured a hanging 3D sculpture of the band's tongue logo, for the live streamed launch event in Hackney Empire.

LED screens were embedded into the set providing a canvas to augment the physical tongue structure and to add depth to the stage.

Approach

We dived into explorations in prismatic glass, chromatic aberrations, reflections and refractions and glass fragments. We then brought these elements in the band's existing branding to create the broadcast graphics for the show.
