Context and Brief
In the early stages of Coldplay's ‘A Head Full of Dreams’ era, when we first began our collaboration with the band, Phil Harvey called up about a show they were doing in a few months, the Super Bowl Half-time Show! It soon also expanded to include other legends of the music industry - Beyoncé, Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson - and became one of the most talked about Super Bowls of our time.
We created visuals for all artists, threading together a 13-minute show with a range of design styles to play out around the Levi’s Stadium screens and a custom LED floor screen on the field. The performance ended with a stunning moment uniting the artists on stage with the final statement ‘BELIEVE IN LOVE’ sung out and displayed all around the stadium.
